I started out the day in Kitakamakura which is pretty beautiful and has some nice temples, but it's hard to understand much without a guide book if you don't read Japanese. It looks like this:

This was followed by a stop in Kamakura proper where I went to the beach (seen from above at the Hasedera temple):
and visited this guy. I've heard he's kind of a big deal:
Then I made my way over to Enoshima Island and saw a traditional Japanese street performance:
...or not. And even took an adventure into Iwaya cave:
That would be the universal sign for "Tophs, don't hit your head. These caves were designed for less than four feet tall Japanese women".

And finally, after a long day away from home, I found just what I needed... a good Judy Garland reference. They might wanna re-watch the movie, though... there's no coffee in it, and we prefer spelling that word with an R.
